二戰捷克 Lidice 屠殺事件

二戰時，部分的捷克和斯洛伐克淪為納粹德國的保護國，1942年，當時的保護國總督(同時也是黨衛軍高官)海德里希遭到捷克反抗人士暗殺。追捕刺客和相關涉案人的過程中，納粹情報機關誤以為 Lidice 和 Lezaky 這兩個鄰近布拉格的村莊的村民協助藏匿刺客，希特勒決定屠殺、焚毀這兩個村莊作為報復。

1942 年 6月 10日，Lidice 村莊中絕大部分的成年男人被當場槍決，女人和兒童被送去集中營，嬰兒被送給指定的德國家庭撫養。Lidice 村中的105個兒童，有88人死於集中營，只有17人活下來並且能夠回家。

1942年6月24日，納粹狡猾地摧毀了 Ležáky 村莊。所有居民因此被殺害，只有兩個小女孩倖存並被送往德國接受再教育。成年居民根據戒嚴法被槍殺，所有被槍殺的屍體都被送往火葬場焚燒。連他們的骨灰也被蓋世太保沒收，最後丟進易北河。營地的兒童們被帶到 Lodže ，1942 年夏天，他們與 Lidice 的孩兒童一起被毒氣殺害。

此次屠殺事件激發了全捷克的反抗納粹運動，同時也成為國際兒童節 (6月1日)的由來。

戰後，Lidice 村得到重建，部分當年遭到焚毀的建築地基遺跡仍然可見。Lezaky 村則永遠荒廢了，但有建造紀念碑。

Lidice massacre

The Lidice massacre was the complete destruction of the village of Lidice in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, which is now a part of the Czech Republic, in June 1942 on orders from Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and acting Reichsprotektor Kurt Daluege, successor to Reinhard Heydrich.
