- 我走的路線是 法國之路 Camino Francés，時間為 5月底到6月底，32天 走 779 公里。這個時間點的氣候還不至於炎熱，也不會太冷

- 因為昨天 (倒數第二天)我刻意多走了幾公里，讓今天這最後一天的路程比較短，走得比較輕鬆
- 今天這整段路的起伏都不劇烈，非常輕鬆
- 一大早出發時有下雨，靠近終點時雨完全停了，很神奇

最後這 10多公里，很簡單，起伏非常平緩

這個小鎮距離 Santiago 只有五公里
小鎮郊區有個山丘，立有兩座朝聖者雕像。

這個小山丘只有偏離 朝聖之路的官方路線大約幾百公尺而已，非常值得多花個20分鐘繞過去參觀
而且在山丘上可以遠眺 Santiago 城市 ，可以清楚看到 主教座堂的尖塔，非常令人亢奮

進入 Santiago de Compostela
- 貌似愈加接近終點，大家的精神都更亢奮，步行速度飛快
朝聖之路終點: Catedral de Santiago de Compostela 主教座堂
1075 年，當今的 大教堂 Santiago de Compostela Cathedral 開始興建，在 1211 年完工。大教堂在 16 世紀、17 世紀和 18 世紀進行了擴建和裝飾
四個方位的教堂立面
- 西立面 Façade of the Obradoiro
- 大部分朝聖者進城後的第一站，就是到達這座大教堂 西立面 的廣場，仰望大教堂的鐘塔
- 但是教堂參觀入口不在這裡，而是在南立面
- 建造於 1738 年 的巴洛克立面。後來又加入歌德式的鐘樓
- 北立面 Acibecharía
- 巴洛克風格，完成於 1740 年
- 東立面 Quintana
- 這裡有聖門 (Puerta Santa) 的對外出口 和 皇家門 (Porta Real)
- 皇家門
- 南立面 Pratarías
- 大教堂的現今的參觀入口在南立面 ，屬於羅馬式風格，完成於 1117 年
Cripta Apostolica 聖雅各墓穴
- 由於不同時代的戰爭，聖雅各遺體 曾經被轉移到安全的處所。
- 1879年，聖雅各的遺體 重新被發現，1884 年由教皇認證在 Santiago de Compostela 發現的人骨是聖雅各遺物，遺物被裝入銀製的聖物箱，重新放入教堂地下室
- 透過 1879 年的考古活動，也發現當今的第三座教堂主殿地下 有前兩座古代教堂的遺跡
- 國王 Alfonso II 建立的第一代教堂

Portico of Glory
The Portico of Glory of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral is a Romanesque portico and the cathedral's main gate created by Master Mateo and his workshop, on the orders of King Ferdinand II of León. The king donated to Mateo one hundred maravedís annually between 1168 and 1188. To commemorate its completion in 1188, the date was carved on a stone set in the cathedral and on the lintel that supports the richly ornamental tympanum. Under the contract made in 1168, if Mateo was to renege on the deal to create the portico at any time, he would have to pay 1,000 gold pieces (aureos). The complete three-piece set took until 1211 to completely finish; when the cathedral was consecrated in the presence of King Alfonso IX of León.

聖門 La Pureta Santa
- 建造於 16 世紀。穿越聖門象徵寬恕和重生。聖門只有在聖年才會開啟。門上方的金色十字架是在 1211 年奉獻給大教堂的
- 在聖門內側的浮雕中描繪了「用船運送 聖雅各遺體」及「主教 Iria Teodomiro 發現聖雅各墳墓」的故事
- 聖門外側外開於 東立面 (La fachada de la Quintana)，
- 浮雕上部是聖雅各以及他的門徒 (包括 協助下葬聖雅各遺體的 Athanasius 和 Theodore)
- 浮雕下部是 12 個中世紀的合唱團人物
